Nuovo benchmark per la vostra scheda video

Esce in questi giorni un nuovo benchmark, basato sulle librerie Opengl 2.0, per testare le prestazioni della vostra VGA.

"Lightsmark", questo il suo nome, promette di valutare le componenti anche più anziane, senza rinunce sotto il profilo del rendering utilizzato. Oltre a questo aspetto, di sicura importanza è il supporto alla tecnica della global illumination, che permette di avere ombre più simili alla realtà anche a risoluzioni di tutto rispetto, e non confinate in piccole zone della scena.

Il benchamark ha i seguenti requisiti di sistema: 

 

  • x86/x64 CPU with SSE
  • OpenGL 2.0 compliant GPU with 32 MB RAM
    • supported: NVIDIA GeForce 5xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx, 8xxx (including GeForce Go) with October 2007 or newer drivers!
    • supported: AMD/ATI Radeon 9500-9800, Xxxx, X1xxx, HD2xxx (including Mobility Radeon) with October 2007 or newer drivers!
    • supported: subset of workstation families FireGL, Quadro
    • note: other vendors don't have OpenGL 2.0 GPUs, older drivers are not compliant
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 100 MB free disk space
  • Windows (any of XP, XP x64, Vista, Vista x64)
