Aiuto-modem Creatix V90 HAM su RedHat7.3

qualcuno ha mai installato sto modem su Linux?
ho scaricato il file dal sito Intel ma eseguendo le istruzioni non ne vengo a capo non trova i file *.o ? sbaglio a scompattare la certella compressa nel cd temp? grazie a chiunque per un consiglio
absolute lammerone al cubo :(

nn trova i files object, sei sicuro di aver scaricato tutto quanto?
o magari ha bisogno dei sorgenti del kernel..
guarda se c'e' un readme... in caso leggilo...

il filo l'ho scaricato qua http://developer.intel.com/design/modem ... _linux.htm
ed è http://developer.intel.com/design/modem ... ep-R72.htm però ho visto che c'è un file con signature PGP mo lo scarico e vedo. Nel readme dice di inserire il cd d'instalazione cosa che ho fatto e montato però non l'ha mai cagato

REDHAT 7.3 qui di seguito t'incollo la sessione intera se puo servire ancora grazie

da quello che leggo alla fine e' che mancano sia gli header che i sorgenti del kernel in uso, sui cd dovrebbero esserci, una volta installati riprova..

dovresti cercare nei cd della tua RH i pakketti con la scritta (approssimativamente) kernel_numero_del_kernel_source.rpm e lo stesso con la finale header, se nn trovassi l' header nn importa abbisogna allora solo del source, per l' installazione o usi il tool di RH oppure da consolle fai rpm -iVh nomepakketto.rpm

in genere dovresti trovare i source in /usr/src/linux-2.4.18-3 , se li nn trovi niente, devi installarli da cd...
