Molti modelli necessitano di BIOS aggiornati per risolvere problemi di velocità di rotazione della ventola e/o per superare gli 862MHz di freq per la GPU. Alcuni produttori hanno rilasciato BIOS ufficiali, altri li inviano ai singoli utenti su richiesta (tra cui sapphire), altri ancora non hanno rilasciato bios ufficiali di alcun genere.

:arrow: Amd adotta una nuova denominazione a partire da questa linea di prodottiç il nome è infatti formato da quattro cifre, in cui la prima ("3") indica la generazione di appartenenza, la seconda la famiglia di prodotto e la terza la posizione all'interno di una stessa famiglia.

:arrow: Al momento del lancio le concorrenti per la 3850 è la Nvidia Geforce 8600 gts, per la 3870 la Nvidia Geforce 8800 gt, per la 3870 x2 la Nvidia Geforce 8800 ultra. Inoltre la 3870 x2 rappresentava la scheda più veloce del mercato.

:arrow: Sono le prime schede sul mercato a supportare le librerie Directx 10.1 le quali saranno disponibili solo ad inizio 2008, con il primo Service pack per Windows Vista: sino ad allora quindi tale tecnologia non potrà essere sfruttata.

eh eh eccole qua.. ma di fatto nn ci sono salti prestazionali assurdi rispetto alle 2900..e rimangono sotto le 8800GT...anceh come prezzo.. però per 20 euro..che costano di meno..andrei sulla 8800GT...
adesso vediamo con l'evolversi dei drive i miglioramenti che ci saranno d certo..
